I moved from Holland.

What made you decide to move there? (Work, family, spouse, personal decision, etc.)

Because of my work (I moved to Curacao with my family for 36 months).

How much time had you spent in your new country before you moved there?

We had no time for that.

How much stuff did you bring with you? (Clothing, personal property, art, car, etc.)

40 ft container

What did it cost to make the move?

I don't know, my employer paid for that

How long did it take you to get settled and figure out where everyday things are, like the grocery store, post office, etc?

About 6 months.

How does it feel to be a foreigner in a new place? How differently do people treat you, and how does it make you feel?

There are a lot of foreigners here so we're not treated different.

Do you speak the local language? How does this affect your experience?

A little. The local people appreciate if you do.

What do you do for entertainment?

Diving and snorkling

Are you happy with your decision to move, or would you rather be back home, or in some other country instead?

Yes.

Why would you (or wouldn't you) suggest to others to move there?

It's always nice weather here!
