What country are you native to?

Macedonia

What area of Kuwait do you current live (Providence, City, general area etc.)

How long have you lived in Kuwait?

1 year

When you moved to Kuwait, did you bring your family? What do they think?

no. they werw, and they are steel agaist this decission

Did you leave your family behind? How do you handle the separation?

yes. hard if i handle at all

What made you decide to relocate to a different country?

The job which was offered, such a big project.... it was temptation. Macedonia is small and poor, we will newer ever build such a project

What other countries did you consider? Why didn't you choose those?

This was just firs offer for work outside. I was not thinking on possibility like this

Was it difficult to get the documents you needed to live and/or work there? (residency and/or working permit)

extremelly

What was the most difficult part of the transition?

Just everything. Starting from my resident visa, it was like 6 months period to get her...

Do you plan on returning to your home country? Why or why not?

yes. I will learn some thing more, and after all Macedonia is the bes place in the world

Do you miss your family, friends or old home and habits?

what a question

What do you miss the most about your home country?

My country

Are there the same recreational activities in Kuwait?

like anywhere

How easy has it been to make new friends in Kuwait?

like anywhere

Do you have many friends from your home country in Kuwait?

not so much

What are your favorite activities that are available?

Working, and working....

Do you speak the language of Kuwait?

no

Do you think it is crucial to know the language in Kuwait, or can you get by with a handheld translation dictionary for a while?

Yes I do think, but some how in my surrounding just anyone is from different country and I am going to be more and more like the local people disinterested for learning

Was medical insurance difficult to get before you went or after you first arrived?

no, just this was easy

Did you move to your new location after retirement, or are you currently working or looking for work?

of course that i am looking for a work.there is anyone who did not?

How do you earn your living in Kuwait?

by accident, really

Do you generally earn your income the same way, or in the same profession, as in your home country?

yes

How did you go about finding a job in Kuwait? Was it easy or hard to locate work and get a job?

i was not looking for this job. i dont know

If you are telecommuting, what obstacles, if any, did you face in setting up your communication methods?

just like in Macedonia

Are there local customs that would make it difficult for foreigners to fit in?

yes

Do you have plans to move again or travel in the future or what are your future business plans?

to go home to work there if i can find any decent and intereting job there. maybe to thry to sell our projects here in Kuwait

Did you buy a new home or did you decide to rent?

no

What is the average cost for housing in your area?

about 250

How do you feel about the local people? Are they friendly?

mainly yes

What is the best thing about people in Kuwait?

they are different

Do you have any suggestions for people who are thinking about moving to Kuwait?

it is so different than any other place.

What are the good or bad things about living in Kuwait?

It is extremely safe to live here, I can walk alone anytime, and it is impressive how they have succeeded to connect the biggest contrast in same time near to each other. And so many different people in every mining of the word. But it is boring, and anyone is so motionless and it is so hard to make difference when they are lying and when are truthful.

Do you think you will stay in Kuwait, or it is not suitable for the long run?

I prefer to move from here, but i think the reason is that i like Macedonia,not Kuwait like it is

If you are living there for the short term, what other countries are you considering?

home, or if it is necessery near my country, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, maybe up to Romania
